Frequently asked questions
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. It gives you 3 active events at the same time, each with 30 photos and 15 days of album from the first photo, with no credit card. When an event ends or is archived, it frees a slot for the next one. It is for trying things out on birthdays and other generic events; weddings need Premium or higher and company events need Basic or higher. For a real event, the paid plans do not have that limit.
Is there VAT or any hidden cost?
No. We are under the VAT exemption regime (art. 53 of the Portuguese VAT code), so the price shown is the final price. On event plans you pay once per event.
What is the crossed-out amount?
It is the list price. The highlighted amount is the launch campaign price, which is what you pay.
Can I change plan later?
Of course. The conditions for changing are in the Terms of Service.
What happens to my photos when an event expires?
You will receive an email reminder before expiry. You can download all photos or extend the event. After expiry, photos are kept for 30 days before deletion.
Do guests need to create an account?
No! Guests upload photos via a shared link or QR code - no sign-up required.
How does face detection work?
Our AI automatically groups photos by person so guests can quickly find themselves. Face detection is opt-in per event and GDPR compliant.
Can I ask for a refund?
Yes: a full refund within 30 days of purchase, provided no photo has been uploaded to the event. The full conditions are in the Terms of Service. Read them before you buy and, if you have questions, write to us.
I am a professional: what is the difference from the event plans?
Event plans are for organising one event. Account plans (Studio, Pro and Team) are subscriptions for people who deliver events to clients: your own brand, unlimited active events and a shared storage pool, so you can sell Momentzy as part of your service.
