Live quiz for events

A live quiz your whole event can play

Guests scan a QR code and answer on their own phones, the questions and the scoreboard light up the big screen, and you run the game from yours. No app to install, no extra equipment.

  • No app to install
  • Teams and live reactions
  • Hosted from your phone
Three screens, one game

Everyone has the right screen in hand

On the player's phone

The question, four big answers and a countdown, all within thumb reach. Players see at once whether they got it right and can cheer others on with quick reactions.

On the big screen

The QR code to join, each question with its time running out, the scoreboard between questions and the podium at the end. Easy to read from the back of the room.

On the host's console

Start, reveal and move on with one big button. Pause or cut the time, switch to auto mode, and put the projector back on the photos when the game ends.

How it works

From the first question to the podium in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Write your questions

Create the quiz with your own questions and answers and set a time for each one.

  2. 2

    Guests scan and join

Show the QR code on the big screen. Guests type a name, accept the terms and they are in. Nobody installs anything.

  3. 3

    Run the game

Start from your phone, reveal each answer and let the scoreboard and the podium do the rest.

Where it fits

A game for every kind of event

Weddings

Questions about the couple get both families playing on the same side, with a podium for the grand finale.

Parties and birthdays

Breaks the ice between guests who barely know each other and fills the gap between dinner and dancing.

Company events

Team building, conferences and end-of-year dinners, with teams ranked by average so a bigger table does not win by size alone.

DJs, hosts and entertainers

A ready-made game to add to your show, run from your own phone while you keep the room moving.

What you get

Everything a good quiz night needs

Six question formats

Multiple choice, true or false, written answers, numbers, polls and word clouds, so the game never feels the same twice.

Teams

Players can join a team, such as a table, and the ranking uses the average of each team's points.

Live reactions

Players send quick emoji reactions that pop up on the big screen while the game goes on.

Auto mode

Let the quiz reveal answers and move on by itself, or take the controls back whenever you like.

No app, no account

Players join from the phone browser with a name of their choice.

Moderation and privacy

Word clouds filter swear words and you can hide any word. Players only give a display name of their choice.

For professionals

One more service to add to your package

DJs, photographers, venues and planners can offer the quiz as part of what they sell, and host it themselves on the day.

  • A new line on your quote

Add the quiz to your packages and charge for the extra entertainment, with no new staff and no equipment to rent.

  • Next to the photo gallery

The same event can have its photo gallery and its quiz, and the projector goes back to the photos when the game ends.

  • You are the host

You run the game from your phone, so the experience is yours from the first question to the podium.

  • Nothing to carry

All you need is a screen and the guests' phones. No hardware to ship, set up or take down.

Frequently asked questions

What organisers and hosts ask us most

What do guests need to play?

Only their phone. They scan the QR code on the big screen, type a name, accept the terms and play in the browser. No app and no account.

What do I need to host it?

A screen or projector that can open a web page for the big screen, and your phone for the console. At an event with a photo slideshow, the quiz can take over the projector and hand it back to the photos when it ends.

Can I write my own questions?

Yes. You write the questions and answers and choose a time limit for each one. Questions and answers have a length limit so they stay readable on the big screen.

What kinds of questions can I use?

Multiple choice, true or false, written answers, numbers, polls and word clouds. Polls and word clouds do not score points, so you can mix them in without changing the ranking.

How do teams work?

Players pick a team, such as their table. A team scores the average of its players' points, and only teams with at least two players are ranked, so size does not decide the winner.

Is the quiz included in every plan?

No, the quiz is part of selected plans. Check the plans page to see what each one includes, or contact us and we will help you choose.

What data do players give?

Only a display name of their choice, and they accept the terms before playing. Word clouds ask them not to write personal details, and you can hide any word from the big screen.
